We appreciate your interest in our online shop, Magic EVA. Protecting your personal data is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we process your data.

1. Access data and hosting

When you visit our website, our servers automatically store information, so-called server log files, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. This data is technically necessary to ensure the website functions correctly and is used solely for this purpose (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or Art. 6 para. 1 of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection).

The data is stored for a maximum of 7 days, after which it is deleted.

Our website is operated by a hosting provider located in the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA) and processes the data only on our behalf.

2. Collection and processing of personal data for contract processing and customer account

We only collect personal data such as name, address, email address, and payment details if you voluntarily provide them to us, for example, when placing an order, contacting us, or opening an account. This data is processed to fulfill your contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Required fields in forms are marked accordingly. Ordering or opening an account is not possible without this information.

After contract fulfillment or account deletion, we only store your data for as long as is required by tax and commercial law or as long as you allow us to use it further.

You can delete or deactivate your customer account at any time.

3. Data transfer

For contract processing, we only pass on your data to service providers who need it for shipping, payment and delivery (e.g. shipping companies, payment providers).

Some service providers are based outside the EU/EEA (e.g., the USA). In these cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) in accordance with current Swiss and EU data protection law.

If you give us your explicit consent, we will also transmit your email address and telephone number to shipping service providers so that they can contact you regarding delivery notifications. You can revoke this consent at any time.

4. Newsletter

With your explicit consent, we will regularly send you our newsletter by email. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time – via a link in the newsletter or by sending us a message.

Without subscribing to our newsletter, we may send you promotional emails about similar products after a purchase, based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time.

Shipping is handled by a service provider in the EU/EEA who will only use your email address for shipping purposes.

Our website uses cookies to improve usability and for marketing purposes. We use both session cookies (which are deleted after closing the browser) and persistent cookies (which remain stored for a longer period).

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to analyze website usage. The data collected is stored on Google servers in the USA, but Google is no longer certified under the Privacy Shield agreement since its implementation. Therefore, we have entered into standard contractual clauses with Google to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

You can deactivate the collection of your data by Google Analytics at any time using a browser add-on or opt-out link.

6. Marketing via remarketing and Google Ads

We use Google Ads Remarketing to show you interest-based advertising based on your visit to our website. A pseudonymous cookie is set for this purpose, which recognizes you when you visit other websites.

This data will only be used as long as you do not give other consent or revoke its use.
